Professional Contest Categories & Prizes
§ Chicken § Ribs § Pork § Beef Brisket
$5,500 in Prize Money to be awarded
Prize Money and Trophies will be awarded for 1st through 5th Place in Each Category.
1st Place: $400 & Trophy
2nd Place: $300 & Trophy
3rd Place: $150 & Trophy
4th Place: $100 & Trophy
5th Place: $50 & Trophy
6th Place thru 10th will receive ribbons
Grand Champion*: $1000 & Trophy
Reserve Champion: $500 & Trophy
(To be eligible for Grand Champion you must compete in all four meat categories.)
*The Grand Champion will be invited to the American Royal Invitational and will be entered in the pool for the Jack Daniels World Championship Invitational Barbeque.
Dessert Category
Will be judged 60% taste 40% appearance
All Entries must be turned-in in KCBS approved container
Container must close
Enties must be created and assembled on-site

Contest Location
It takes place in a fantastic location, the Branson’s BBQ Throwdown 2010 will be held at the
Fond du Lac Fairgrounds, where we will have ample room for up to 50 BBQ teams and at least 6,500 patrons.
